Many men have been disillusioned by cheating girlfriends. Here are some signs that may tell you that your relationship is at risk.
If your woman used to have true self-esteem, and now she acts like she is not as sure of herself, this could be a warning sign. She may tell you that she's fat and doesn't know why you like her, or she may make disparaging remarks about her ability to maintain relationships, and wonder aloud why you put up with her. This is the “nice” way to tell you she's having an affair. She is trying to let you go and not hurt your feelings. But your feelings still may get hurt, in the end.
Cheating girlfriends sometimes tend to flirt excessively with other men. She may just feel “looser” than she once did, or she might actually be shopping around for another man. If your woman has never been a “flirter” before, and now she suddenly is, it may be a bad sign for your relationship.
Women need to have some sense of validation in their lives, as we all do. Sometimes cheating girlfriends flirt to feel that sense of validation, especially if they don't feel it in their full-time relationship. If the other person ends up flirting back, they feel better, like they are more sexually worthy. Occasional flirting is not necessarily something to be worried about, but if it's not normal for her, or is excessive, then you may want to look closer at your relationship.
Your girlfriend will probably distance herself from you when she becomes involved with someone else. Cheating girlfriends may “forget” about plans they made to spend with their regular partner. Your woman may start to hang out with the “girls” too often. In fact, she may be hanging with the girls too, or just using them as an excuse.
If your girlfriend won't do things to please you anymore, it may mean she is involved with someone else. If she was really “into” your relationship, she would want to do anything she could to please you. If she isn't willing to invest time and effort into your relationship, then the less interested she is in keeping it alive, and the greater the chance that she has already moved on.
It's not a good idea to act on your suspicions unless you are fairly confident that they are true. You may just be feeling paranoid, when you come out with your accusations. You don't want to seem needy and insecure. If you seem that insecure, it may lessen her attraction to you, even if she isn't already attracted to someone else.
Come to her as a mature man and just ask her what is going on. Cheating girlfriends may lie initially, but eventually you will find out if she's really cheating or not. Just tell her you've noticed some changes in her lately, and ask if she is cheating on you.
If she is cheating on you, then you still have two options available to you. You can forgive her and try to make it work again, but this can only happen if she is willing to end the other relationship. The other choice is showing her the door. Only you can decide what is the right choice for you to make at this time.
